Synopsis

David Piperno is a young Roman Jew who moved to Israel to fulfill his dream of becoming a great science fiction director. His screenplay, "The Mutant Lizard," however, doesn't interest anyone, and to support himself, he's forced to interview the last survivors of the Holocaust for the Yad Vashem Museum. David is immature, unreliable, and has a peculiar sense of humor. His friends know it well, as does Sara, his anxious and overprotective mother, and Sharona, his exasperated girlfriend. None of them, however, can foresee that, in realizing his ambitions, David will unleash a catastrophe of planetary proportions. And the advice of his imaginary friends, Philip Roth and Yitzhak Rabin, won't be enough to repair the unpredictable damage that will afflict all of humanity. A satirical, anti-rhetorical, and irreverent novel, "Holocaust" presents itself as a mirror of the times, amidst fake news and the loss of values. It's an original and entertaining story that makes us reflect on our future, starting from a fundamental idea: if we deny the Holocaust, everything else will collapse. Absolutely everything.
