Synopsis

Emiliano, a former heroin addict wrongfully convicted of the murder of Andrea, himself a drug addict, is finally released from prison after sixteen years. Waiting for him outside isn't his old friends, but Omero, the victim's father, a tired and depressed man, kept alive only by his desire for revenge. But fate dictates that Emiliano saves the man's life, defending him from a group of thugs. Thus the two men begin to get to know each other, and Emiliano manages to convince Omero of his innocence. That same night, the two men make a pact: together they will discover Andrea's killer, so they can finally free themselves from the shadows of their past and start living anew.
