Synopsis

A mature man, separated from his wife, tired of his usual, existentially inert, metropolitan life, loses his job and is mistaken by a real estate agent for the buyer of his apartment building's penthouse. And then something clicks inside him: an idea. Dazzled by a sudden desire to be himself, he pretends to be interested in buying apartments, uses fake names, and contacts agencies, thus beginning a bizarre odyssey, marked among other things by a curious project: the creation of a new type of pasta, a new fusillo. He meets Alba, a charming real estate agent who claims to change his life, and ends up discovering her game. But the fact that he has been "discovered" shatters the spell of the charade and the simulation. It seems that all is lost, but two unexpected events, two genuine shocks to the heart, arrive unexpectedly. And life goes on.
