Stalin's Friend

Synopsis

"Bloody Sunday" in January 1905 marked a pivotal moment in world history. From the Caspian Sea, Chechnya, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Istanbul, Venice, Paris, and Berlin, a group of men began laying the foundations for the tsarist regime's death throes, followed by the Revolution and Civil War. One of them was Kamò, a young Armenian friend of Stalin's. Thirsty for justice, he joined the nascent Bolshevik forces, quickly becoming a key figure in the movement, organizing attacks and guerrilla warfare at the head of a small army in southern Russia and the Caucasus.
