Synopsis

Flavio and Francesco are brothers. The former is a pragmatic businessman, successfully managing the family business and making his own a life he found ready-made. The latter, a musician and traveler, is one of those who, from an early age, are bumped up against the world, and as adults find themselves disillusioned, though without losing their sense of humor. It's hard to imagine two more different lives, two more distant orbits. Yet the correspondence between Flavio's certainties and Francesco's wandering anxieties is too precise to not suggest two opposites that, inexorably, reconnect time and time again. And then there are the women, tangling their destinies: there's Laura, Flavio's wife, who has always been in love with someone else, and Elisa, the overwhelming encounter, the spark Francesco didn't even know he was waiting for. "Io No" is the story of these loves: overlapping, out of sync, reciprocated, hidden; It is, above all, the hilarious and dramatic tale of a great journey, the one everyone undertakes in search of themselves.
