Synopsis

Genoa, 1964. They're in their early twenties, unscrupulous, and eager to become the city's masters. Their apprenticeship was the streets—snatching purses, thefts, and petty, violent robberies in the alleyways—and now, as Italy changes and the winds of new revolutions blow, Caio, Parodi, Criss, Albino, Pumas, and Michele are ready to storm Genoa's criminal underworld, sweeping away the old underworld to the rhythm of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Theirs is a band of brothers, all with the same violent desire to emerge but with one recognized leader: Caio. Mauro, known as the Moor, also possesses the charisma of a leader: born like other boys in the alleys, and in the immediate postwar period, thus the product of the guilt and desperate stories of those who brought him into the world, he and Vittorio form a different kind of criminal duo, one that respects the unwritten laws of the streets. But when the paths of the two gangs cross, between prison beatings, gambling dens brawls, and kidnappings, the trail of blood they leave behind quickly degenerates into a fierce manhunt that takes place in the heart of the city.
