Synopsis

Every morning, Georgette turns to the mirror and greets the new Renée, or the new Joséphine, or the new Marylou, to celebrate another day of pleasure and fantasy in a new guise. For her, life is nothing more than a whirlwind of poetry in which there is no room for the sadness of the world. So here she is, dancing with her husband always and everywhere, day and night, alone and in the company of friends, to the sound of Nina Simone's "Mister Bojangles," a song both cheerful and melancholic. Here she is thrilled by every little thing, and finds the world's passing incredibly amusing. Here she is, treating her little one neither as an adult nor as a child, but as a character from a novel. A novel she loves dearly and in which she immerses herself at every moment.
